Kenya Deaf Bible Translation

Greeting,
The two weeks of workshop in Kenya went well! I met new deaf translators and interpreters. They became my brothers and sisters. I had so much fun fellowshipping with them because we all stayed in the same compound for two weeks. The hearing pastors name is Thomas. He had a big heart for the deaf community. He treats them equally. There is one deaf translator who is pastor of church and helped other deaf translators a lot with scripture. Four deaf translators completed their chapter. Two of them are deaf teachers of school, so they are very brilliant. Three of deaf translators are in high school. Only one of them completed his chapter. Two deaf teachers and one pastor will choose more translators and train them once we leave. I have a great feelings about Kenya’s Deaf bible translation future. I want to say thank you for your prayers and support. Can you please pray for Kenya’s deaf bible translation? Pray for their growth, protection, wisdom and that God will provide financial support from churches in the area. Also pray for the deaf translators who did not make any money because they took time out of their jobs to do this project without pay. Thank you again. Next trip will happen in Fiji on November 25th. I’m excited to go there as tech guy not leadership!
